Yay! Everyone cheer because it's Friday!

So thought I'd let ya'll know what'll be happening next week (if you're interested that is)
So on Sunday I'm going up north with my history class where we'll be looking at all the historical sites up there ( where my friends I will just appear to be paying attention while thinking about food or something). Seems like it'll be pretty cool, we'll be staying at a resort while has a buffet (there I go on about food again!)
We get back from that on Tuesday night meaning that I'm only gonna be in town for two days, since I'll be heading down to the south island of Friday morning (yay, no school! ) for a convention until Sunday. My friend and I're super pumped for that because it'll be the first time in about 5 months that we'll have properly seen each other (plus some of the cast of The Hobbit'll be there! )
So you can probably tell that I'm looking forward to al that travelling. Apologies in advance since I won't get to be online much

In the meantime: Went paintballing with some friends on Tuesday where I managed to get the most bruises out of all of us, but loved every minute of it, plus our team only won one game (which was capture the flag) and I was the one who won it for us with my awesome stargazing/lone ranger skills
But for the last two days I've been off school with a migraine, so I've been able to get a lot more sleep trying to make them go away! Hopefully it's passed now though *fingers crossed!*

Have some more cosplays coming up soon too
Am thinking of maybe doing a Grimm one tomorrow after school (think I can pull off Nick!) and will be asking my friends to help me out with a few Finch cosplay photos when we go away this weekend since I was finally able to go get some more glasses to use (the pair I used for the first picture were my sister's, but she's moved out since). Will also have photos to come after next weeks convention.

How's things with you all?

So school started again on Thursday, and by Friday my friend Joanne and I were knacked!
But I'm enjoying being back so far. Students in their final year don't have to wear uniform, and I feel so much more comfortable now, since our uniform is terrible and badly made! Also we have a free period during the day, where we can leave the grounds, catch up on work, or whatever else you like. Had my first one on Friday and had absolutly no idea what to do with myself! Ended up drawing and listening to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galexy though.
Also I sadly had to drop photography on Thursday, as History classes are held at the same time as that one. I really wanted both, but am far better at History so have replaced photography with social studies. I've never taken that class before, but got in straight away Plus the teacher of that class loves my sense of style apparently lol
Histoy, my friend and I were up to our usual antics: On a from we had to write down a name we'd prefer to be called if their was one. Pricilla immediatly grabs my sheet and writes 'Martin Freeman', so as pay back I grab her's and write 'Zophod Bettlebrox President of the Galaxy'. And normal rules applied that we're not allowed to removed what the other had written. Tommorw's lesson will be interesting after that xD
Also found out that our history trip is a few days before the Armageddon Expo, so I'm gonna be doing a heap of traveling round the country in a very short time frame! But and dead excited for it!

I've also been drawing some more, msotly at Joanne's place though, so I'll have to take some pictures of them next I'm over there.
Plans have also changed cosplay wise for the Expo. I was gonna be the Doc Brown to my friend's Marty, but now school's begun we've decided to go as Sam and Dean Winchester together and she'll be Marty on the day I'm Rick.

Think that's about it for now, been a crazy past few days!
Also am contemplating going into school in a cosplay one day, but am not sure xD

So I didn't end up getting a job from McDonalds like I'd hoped, (I want anything that pays!) so reckon i might put an add up for baby sitting or get a paper route as I could easily do those thing while I'm still at school.

Two more days of freedom left, then it's school So I'm getting a hair cut tomorrow to tidy myself up a bit.
Not a lot else really thought I'd just let you know how the job hunting is going. Also, I drew a nice portrait at my friends house, but left it there, so I'll probably retrieve it in a few day and peobably post it

Hey everyone

So I'm just updating a bit I guess (love being able to keep a blog!)
So the Rick Grimes cosplay is complete!!
Which was pretty fun to do, had my first sowing lesson off of Mum and I wasn't as terrible as I though I was going to be! Now's all I have to do is sort out my Doc Brown cosplay, but am gonna keep quite about that for the next couple of days since I got a bit of a lecture about money from Dad last night (I'm trying super hard to understand it, but I'm just terrible with numbers ) But I'll get there before the expo I'm sure.
And in the meantime I'll get what I need to cosplay Lestrade, probably sometime next week after I've had my hair cut for school

In other (non cosplay) news, we had course conformation day on Tuesday and I've been accepted in all my classes! So this year I'll be studying: History, Painting, Photography, Classics and Media Studies. These subject'll be keeping me busy, but hopefully they'll be good fun for my final year
Also I'm taking a break from guitar lessons now and'll be taking saxophone as an extracurricular activity.  

Have also been watching some cool films the past few nights. Benedict Cumberbatch blew me away in 'Hawking', a wonderful portrayal of a man who had shown us how important the mind is and then 'Different for Girls' starring Rupert Graves. This was very interesting one tackling issues such as identity and sexuality that I think film makers are shying away from nowadays. I also have 'Nativity', starring Martin Freeman to watch, but am saving that for when I'm back at school so I'll have something to keep me sane after I see all the homework I'll have. Anyone have any film recommendations?

So it took me a while, but I've finally posted some of my cosplays on here. If you're keen to see them I'd love some feed back
Hopefully will have some more on the way soon too Went to the city yesterday and bought all I needed to finish off the Rick Grimes cosplay I've been working on for a con in March and am thinking of doing a Lestrade from Sherlock one too (maybe even a young Lestrade thing). Any thoughts?

All in all not a lot else happening really. We have about a week and a half left of the summer holiday before I face my final year of school! So sign up day for classes'll be on Tuesday (fingers crosses I get accepted into them all!)

How's everyone else doing then? Got anything in the works or up coming adventures?
